St Petersburg show named best production at M.@rt.contact theater festival
Professional critics named Medea. Episodes, a punk opera by Teatro Di Capua (St Petersburg), the Event of the Forum at the International Youth Theater Festival M.@rt.contact, BelTA learned from the Mogilev Oblast Drama Theater.
The editorial staff of the forum did not come to one opinion. They announced the main and special programs and named art the highlight of the forum, which gave an opportunity to watch unforgettable shows.
The audience voted for the best show of the festival via social media. Online voting finished at 24:00 on 27 March. The best show of the forum (audience choice) will be named on 28 March.
On 21-27 March, different venues in Mogilev hosted 22 plays from 21 theaters from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovakia.
The international forum M.@rt.contact was founded in 2006. Over the past twelve years, it has become an important event in the theatrical life of the country. The forum has seen 190 performances by artists from 20 countries and welcomed over 40,000 visitors. The founders of M@rt.contact are the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, the main department for ideology, culture, and youth affairs of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, and the Mogilev Oblast Drama Theater.
