The three-day tour started with a visit to the embassy and a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko. The children were invited on a guided tour of the embassy and its business and culture center.
The program of the visit included a Christmas show at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, tours of Red Square and Sokolniki Park.
The tour was organized as part of the nationwide charity campaign Our Children with the participation of the Belarusian Association of Large Families and with the financial support of Nikolai Vlasyuk, a Belarus-born businessman, the head of the Russian group of companies SunCity.
