In H1 2008 Bobruiskagromash exports grow 1.5 times

In January-June 2008, Bobruiskagromash exports of farm machines rose 1.5 times to reach $22 million from the same period of 2007, BelTA learnt from the marketing department of the company. The major importers of the company’s products in this period were the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Russia accounted for 72% of all Bobruiskagromash exports. The supplies to this country soared by 40%. The exports to the others CIS member states increased by 22% to total $5.6 million. It was achieved largely due to the contract on the supply of 500 fertilizer dressing machines МТТ4У to Turkmenistan and the increased supplies of farm machines to Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Apart from the abovementioned countries, Bobruiskagromash sold its products to Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Finland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia and Iran. The most popular Bobruiskagromash products are ПРФ baling machines - up 1050 machines were sold (9% up from 2007) - and fertilizer dressing machines – 500 units (189% up from 2007). Bobruiskagromash intends to continue increasing and expanding its exports. At present, negotiations are underway to sell Bobruiskagromash farm machines to the markets of Central and Eastern Europe; the company also has good chances to enter the Asian market and stay there. Bobruiskagromash is one of the CIS and Baltic’s largest producers of farm machines. The product line features more than 50 models of agricultural machinery. In H1 2008 the company’s output was up 54.6% as against the same period of 2007 to Br83 billion.
