MOGILEV, 4 June (BelTA) – Mogilev will welcome investors, architects, urban developers, representatives of international financial institutions, banks, travel agencies, companies from 11 countries for an international business forum Pridneprovye on 26-27 June, BelTA learnt from the city hall.
Applications for the participation in the forum have already been submitted by representatives of 10 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, Korea, Qatar, Nigeria and Azerbaijan. The talks will businessmen from Iraq are underway. The biggest delegation led by the mayor is expected to the city of Pocheon, the Republic of Korea.
The program of the forum will feature the presentation of the city of Mogilev and its investment potential, its experience of implementing foreign investment projects. The forum will also display Mogilev new proposals and investment projects in economy, urban development, utilities services, tourism and other areas. Among them is the construction of a hotel, a football manege, an aquapark, a new production line at OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno, and a garbage recycling plant.
The forum will include an exposition of Mogilev companies, roundtables and the work in four sections on Mogilev infrastructure development, the prospects of the Mogilev industrial sector, FEZ Mogilev and its prospects, and the Mogilev tourism potential development.
“The main objectives of the business forum is to enhance Mogilev investment appeal. The urban development taking into account the international experience, advancement of Mogilev products to international markets, strengthening of interregional cooperation with twin-towns and partners, attraction of foreign tourists through enhancing the city’s recognizability, development of tourism infrastructure,” specialists noted.
The organizers of the business forum include the Mogilev City Hall, FEZ Mogilev Administration, the technological park Mogilev, the Mogilev Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Mogilev urban development council and businessmen.
