State Control Committee for Mogilev Oblast to study problems of youth

MOGILEV, 29 November (BelTA) - The State Control Committee for Mogilev Oblast initiated a campaign to study the problems of the youth, BelTA learnt from senior specialist of the State Control Committee (SCC) for Mogilev Oblast Kirill Doroshenko. The State Control Committee offers students, all young people to share the information on the pressing problems, sent their remarks and suggestions on the ways to improve the lives of young people. From 24 November to 5 December questions and proposals can be sent to the information-reference portal of the Mogilev City Hall (www.mycity.by). An interactive poll in: “What problems face young people today?” will be organized then as well. “Thus, we want to find out how well local authorities, public organizations are working to create favorable conditions for self-realization of young people, their creativity, leisure time,” Kirill Doroshenko said. According to him, this campaign is another step of the supervisory authority to engage in open dialogue with residents of Mogilev Oblast. The Mogilev City Hall regularly holds online conferences and it has become a good tradition. In particular, the last one on entrepreneurship was held in September. Chairperson of the SCC for Mogilev Oblast Lilia Chigir answered 30 questions from Mogilev residents. The online conference was watched by more than 5,000 people. For six days of the youth campaign 57 people took part in the interactive survey. According to them, the main problems facing young people are difficulties in finding work, lack of their own housing and financial problems. All information obtained during the campaign will be compiled, analyzed and sent to the competent authorities, said the State Control Committee.
