Belarus government approves European Games ticketing program
MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has set the ticket release dates and distribution rules of the 2nd European Games 2019. The government passed corresponding Resolution No. 751 on 20 October 2018, BelTA informs with a reference to the website of the government.
The regulation governing the sale of tickets to sporting events of the 2nd European Games 2019 and opening and closing ceremonies sets the start and end dates of ticket sales, ticket marketing organizations, purchase, use and return of tickets.
Ticket sales will run from 1 December 2018 till 30 June 2019. Tickets shall be sold by the ticket operator and also travel companies (tourism services and tickets as one package). Ticket on the letterhead must contain the required details, including the name of the event, price and ticket number. One ticket (e-ticket printout) allows a single-entry to Belarus only to one foreign citizen or stateless person.
Tickets can be returned in case the European Games are canceled or entry to Belarus is denied on the grounds set out in the national legislation. Ticket owners will be given a full refund.
The regulation also indicates that social advertising of the 2nd European Games 2019 can mention sponsors, suppliers, partners, agents and (or) operators of the European Games by 31 December 2019.
The document also approves the rules for issuing certificates confirming depletion, use, consumption, recognition of goods as unfit for further use, their free giveaway, presentation to the participants of the 2nd European Games 2019 as premium attribute, destruction and (or) irrevocable loss.
The resolution comes into force after its official publishing.
